Family Martial Arts Classes
Learn Self Defense in Our Family Martial Arts Classes!

If you’re looking for the best Family Martial Arts classes in the Las Vegas areas, you’ve come to the right place!
Our program is taught by 7th Degree Black Belt Master and 5-time ITC national sparring champion Sue Langdon, who started her taekwondo journey with her children when they were young and has been helping kids and families learn how to defend themselves since then.
In our innovative taekwondo program, you’ll not only learn how to defend yourself and your family in virtually any situation, but you’ll also quickly (and safely) build muscle, lose weight, increase flexibility, and gain a greater sense of peace and quiet self-confidence. Your children will learn to focus better, set and achieve inspiring goals, and learn how to relate to and get along better with others. And you’ll spend quality time together as a family, getting stronger both mentally and physically.
Our family martial arts classes teach traditional taekwondo that follows the same standards Olympic athletes learn. But you don’t need any prior skill, and you don’t need to be a world-class athlete to participate!! We welcome families of all sizes, ages, and skill levels, and we encourage kids, teens, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and all other family members to join in our family taekwondo classes.
You’ll learn time-proven martial arts techniques for punching, kicking, blocking, and striking as your family trains together, creates common goals, moves up the ranks, and eventually earns their black belts together. Students will develop the techniques, skills, and self confidence to defend themselves awhile becoming healthier, stronger, and more confident.
Imagine, giving your entire family the gifts of greater self-esteem, focus, and confidence this year! You’ll accomplish all of this and more in our Lone Mountain TKD Family martial arts lessons! Sign up for a free class and see how martial arts can enhance your life!
Benefits of Self Defense & Martial Arts Classes for Families

QUALITY FAMILY TIME
In today’s busy world, it’s not uncommon for kids and parents to have so many activities that it can be hard to schedule family time or for parents to find their own time to workout. When you train together in taekwondo, you can spend time together as a family learning a valuable skill while ensuring everyone gets in a good workout. Plus, practicing at home gives you even more reason to spend time together!

SELF DEFENSE
Resolving conflict without violence is an essential teaching of taekwondo and a great skill for all members of a family. Family martial arts and self defense classes will teach you the most effective and safe ways to defend yourself and your loved ones if the need ever arises. You’ll learn blocks, kicks, punches, and other attacks as well as ways to avoid becoming a victim, and you’ll have fun doing it!

BONDING
Martial arts are a great way for families to bond over a shared experience. Kids and parents can participate together in something they both enjoy and understand, which can be more meaningful than parents trying to talk to their kids about the latest video games or trends that they may know nothing about.

SHARED VALUES
Family martial arts can help you instill and practice shared values because taekwondo not only teaches you how to defend yourself, but it also instills the core tenets of courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control, and indomitable spirit. Training together as a family ensures that everyone in your family understands and shares these values. When everyone in your household practices these principles regularly, it becomes easier to reinforce them in all areas of life.

FITNESS
Training together in martial arts can make health and fitness a way of life. Taekwondo is a full-body workout that helps you build muscle, lose weight, improve your balance and coordination, and increase your stamina and cardiovascular fitness. Classes start with basic warm-up activities before moving into the taekwondo curriculum that teaches not only punches, kicks, and self defense techniques, but also healthy skills such as balance, coordination, and strength.

STRESS RELIEF
Taekwondo is a great way for family members to let out anger, frustration, and anxiety in a safe environment rather than bringing it home. Yelling, kicking, and punching is a great stress reliever. Martial arts has been shown to significantly lower cortisol level, the hormone responsible for stress, and can reduce stress by lowering your heart rate, increasing blood oxygen levels, and releasing endorphins.
